Director of Electrophysiology
The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) and the Ohio State University is seeking a second board-certified pediatric and/or adult electrophysiologist to join our 20 member multidisciplinary Section as Director of Electrophysiology and Pacing. The candidate must be established in the electrophysiology community, command an innovative vision and prepared to participate in programmatic planning that encompasses all aspects of our Heart Center’s mission (excellence in clinical service, education and research). In addition to Electrophysiology our Heart Center has established programs in Adult CHD & Transition, Interventional Catheterization, Non-Invasive Imaging, Heart/Heart-Lung/Lung Transplantation, innovative neonatal surgery & hybrid approach and Advanced Practice Nursing. We have a well-supporting out-patient network. In 2008 our Heart Center was recognized by both USNWR and Parent Magazine and we are an Optum Center of Excellence. We are partnered with the Center for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Research at NCH-Research Institute. NCH is a free standing children’s hospital with a dedicated 10 bed CT-ICU and 15 bed Cardiac Step-down Unit, two state-of-the-art catheterization laboratories including an EP laboratory. Our Heart Center has a dedicated service line administration including a VP and Director of Nursing. Locum Pediatric Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist
The Green Lane Paediatric and Congenital Cardiac Service at Starship Hospital, Auckland , New Zealand is seeking a locum pediatric cardiologist from mid August 2009 to early November 2009 (approximately 8 - 10 weeks). The locum is to cover the absence of one of the six full-time pediatric cardiologists. A subspecialty interest in arrhythmia/electrophysiology would be useful but not essential.
The pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgical programme based at Starship Children's Hospital is the only pediatric cardiac programme in New Zealand serving a population of 4.2 million. The services include diagnostic, interventional, EP, pacing / ICD services. There is close collaboration with adult cardiology services, on the same site.

Interventional Pediatric Electrophysiologist
The Cardiac Sciences Program at the British Columbia Children's Hospital is seeking a well-trained interventional pediatric electrophysiologist to join the Section Head of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. The Division consists of 5 members who share inpatient and outpatient general pediatric cardiology responsibilities for the Children's Hospital. The successful candidate would share in the clinical and teaching responsibilities of the electrophysiology service and help develop the interventional electrophysiology program.
BC Children's Hospital is the province's only tertiary/quarternary pediatric facility, which includes Neonatal Intensive Care, Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery and ECLS. The Cardiac Sciences Program includes an accredited Pediatric Cardiology training program and an active research program. Located in Vancouver, the hospital serves a population of 4 million.
